I honestly came here for the cat but found they have a nice selection of some of my favorite novels, including those by Tolstoy. Prices are a little high, yes, but it's a small business and I appreciate the store as a whole, so it didn't really bother me.

This bookshop is wonderful, if you are in the area definitely stop in! Lots of great books to choose from, walkable to everything else in the cute little village, right near cafes and coffee shops and the Bridge of Flowers. Love it ❤️

Great selection of new and used books at good prices. Boswell’s is tidy and cozy. Pleasant staff. And, of course, there’s Boswell, the bookstore cat. Currently Boswell is an elderly tuxedo cat who loves the windows. The store is just across the river from the Bridge of Flowers. Make a day of it. Boswell, Bridge of Flowers, and an ice cream!
