Beautiful book store. Lots of geners at reasonable prices. Opens at 11am on the side of a beautiful river with a bridge to walk across. A beautiful handsome cat loves to be pet and greet you at the door.

Excellent book store downtown. We were drawn in after looking at some books outside, and enjoyed the variety of genres inside, including the local selections. While we didn't see the cat, it was fun to ship around this great little store!

Great bookstore right in the middle of town, with a selection of new books and some really interesting finds among the used selection, and so nice to be able to stop in while walking around town. Boswell's made a great addition to a book-themed weekend stay in Shelburne Falls to visit the used bookstores in the area, and I will definitely stop in again next time

Boswell was sleeping in a box behind the counter. So, so adorable (no I didn't wake her up, as much as I'd have loved to say hi and pet her.) Oh, there were wonderful books and gifts here too, and the shopkeeper was very kind and sweet. It wasn't my first visit and certainly wouldn't be my last. Boswell's is a treasure in Shelburne Falls. Next time I'm back hopefully our tuxedo girl will be up and walking about! :)

Boswell has been the name given to the bookstore's resident cat for a few decades. Yards from the Bridge of Flowers, the shop has a wonderfully curated collection. Especially fine is the selection of local authors.

Boswell’s Books was a lovely little find, tucked away in this cute little village of Shelburne. Boswell the cat came out to greet me and allowed me to pet him and was very welcoming! The book selection was great for the amount of space they have. There was a selection of all different genres of reading. I’m certain anyone could find at least something to read in there. And the service was great. We enjoyed talking with the staff and just visiting this cute little store.

Boswell was taking a nap behind the counter on the day we visited this wonderful bookstore. The shelves are filled with an assortment of literary genre--old and new releases. Good layout for browsing, too. Snd the staff was friendly. A must stop destination if visiting Shelburne Falls, or a worthy destination for those living in town.
